The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), an attached agency of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) is a membership institution exclusively designed for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). Its main mandate: to serve and protect the OFWs and their families wherever they are around the world.

As an agency, it is the OWWA’s job to ensure that all their programs, including the entrepreneurial, educational, medical, and livelihood training and assistance, loan and financial programs, repatriation, and reintegration programs will reach their intended beneficiaries.
